For three generations, Lausmann Lumber has been manufacturing and distributing the highest quality appearance grade lumber available in today's marketplace. Having celebrated our 50th anniversary this year, our products can now be seen from Hawaii to Maine, Minnesota to Arizona, and even Colorado in the middle.


We began humbly with a planing mill located in Swisshome, Oregon in 1945, shifting to a fully operational sawmill in Grass valley and a production planning mill in Loomis California.

In 1981, the planning mill and dry Kiln in Loomis, CA were converted to  remanufacturing that focused on wholesale specialty products and distribution of all western softwood species throughout the United States.
